2009 October Pumpkin Extravaganza! Located at the Quad City Botanical Center.
October 2009: Pumpkins will be for sale and displayed in the outside gardens and Sun Garden. Scarecrows will be on exhibit starting October 4th along with a hay bale maze. Special family events on Sunday afternoons 1-4PM in outer gardens and Event Canopy! Sunday events are free with paid admission to the Gardens. General admission prices for the month of October, all Sunday event are regular admission. Adults $5.00, Seniors $4.00, Youth (6-12yrs), $3.00 Kids (2-5yrs) $1.00, Children under 2 free and members of the QCBC free.

Face painting, creepy crawly petting zoo, and pumpkin pie donated by Hill and Valley Inc of Rock Island with ice-cream, kids make and take activities, old world crafting demos and fall craft show. Also in the lobby of the Quad City Botanical, the artist meet and greet for exhibiting artists Brent Langley and Paul Riewerts will be held 2-PM.
